ClearWay MinnesotaSM announces its Request for Proposals (RFP) for Fiscal Year 2009 titled, Research Funding for the Tribal Tobacco Use Project:
Measuring Tobacco Use in Minnesota’s Tribal Communities.

This project seeks to enhance our understanding of traditional and commercial tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure in the American Indian
communities in Minnesota. One Full Community Academic Research Award (CARA) will be funded for an amount not to exceed $750,000 for a period not to
exceed three years. The RFP, supporting application materials and additional information about ClearWay Minnesota are available at www.clearwaymn.org.

Letters of Intent are due April 16, 2008 by 4:30 p.m.

Full applications are due June 9, 2008 by 4:30 p.m.

  MAIBA is an active and exciting group of American Indian lawyers and lawyers with interests in Indian law.  
   
  MAIBA members at Annual Student Reception on April 26, 2008.  
  MAIBA members support each other professionally and personally, mentor law students and young lawyers, network about job and volunteer opportunities, raise and award scholarship money for law students, provide education about Indian law issues, support Indian law causes, and have fun together.
